When the camera is in operation, this is an almost-live picture of San Diego's famous Black's Beach (infamous in the '70s) on the north end of La Jolla Bay. The camera is on a cliff at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. You are looking approximately northwest, with the Pacific Ocean on the left. At the top of the cliff is the Torrey Pines area, home to UCSD, resorts, a famous golf course, and many biotech companies. Torrey Pines and La Jolla are neighborhoods of the City of San Diego. The picture is normally updated during daylight every hour on the hour (sometimes it is not updated or not operating).
